Essentially, it must be taken from its original source, formatted cleanly, and put into your database to be analyzed. This is handled by a process called ETL, Extract, Transform & Load. This process can be painful, slow, and very manually, but AI and automation is now facilitating this dataflow to be almost entirely done by technology.
